# How to create metafield

*  **First, you need to create metafield** ->  [admin/settings/Metafields](https://shopify.com/admin/metafields)

* **Add definition**

* **\`Add Metafield Values**

1. Metafield Name \*(***required***)
2. Namespace and key  \*(***required***) - ( e.g **namespace.key**)
3. Select content type \*(***required***)

* **Add metafield value for the specific product**

1. Go to the product list
